A Short Poem For My Valentine

My dear sweet love,
I have always known you.
When I took my first breath you were the air that filled my lungs
Giving life to the tears that fell from my cheeks.

As threads are woven together
You and I have merged,
Our very souls blanket each other,
You are the space within the cosmos
And the fire that ignites a trillion stars

Like spring flowers peeking through the soil,
You are the rain and the sun,
From which the love in my heart blooms

I am never apart from you.
My dear sweet love,
I have always known you.
