Embarking on a Psychedelic Journey to Heal Trauma

Three months ago, I embarked on a psychedelic journey to heal trauma. It was the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life.

The journey healed me in many ways. I gained countless insights and released traumatic energy from my body.

Although numerous misconceptions exist about psychedelics, for many people they are remarkably healing when used appropriately.

But before I tell you more about my psychedelic journey to heal trauma, I want to be clear that my intention is not to promote the use of illegal substances.

Psychedelics aren’t suitable for everyone, especially those under the age of 25 or anyone with a history or direct relative with a history of psychosis. Plus, I’m not a medical expert.

I’m just someone with a history of trauma who went on a sacred journey with some magic mushrooms, sharing my experience with those who are interested.

5 Ways to Regulate Your Nervous System

Introduction: Releasing Energy From Your Body to Regulate Your Nervous System

Finding ways to regulate your nervous system can be challenging and isolating.

Many of us are stigmatized and misdiagnosed when seeking support for trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety. In truth, nervous system regulation is widely misunderstood.

During stressful times, our bodies are flooded with protective energy known as our fight-or-flight response. But when these responses are unsuccessful, our freeze response takes over and this energy frequently remains trapped inside us.

If the energy is not released, it becomes harder to manage stress, leading to anxiety, depression, insomnia, dissociation, and more.

By learning how to discharge this energy from your body, you can regulate your nervous system, overcome anxiety and trauma, and transform your pain into inner freedom.

Tapping Into Nature’s Spiritual Presence

Introduction: Transformation Through Nature’s Spiritual Presence

Our society is largely disconnected from Mother Nature’s spiritual presence. As a result, many people find that they are just going through the motions of life without a true sense of fulfillment and connection.

You might wake up in the morning feeling empty, disengaged, and uninspired. Somedays, it might even feel like there isn’t anywhere you truly belong.

And it may be difficult to trust your instincts or be present.

These are all signs that you’re seeking deeper meaning and connection. It is how our inner landscape alerts us that we are not aligned with the deeper part of our being.

You see, we live in a society but not a community. We overuse our minds but struggle to be present. We are disconnected from our instincts but compelled by meaningless pursuits.

And we are juggling an interplay of mental health and environmental crises.

So, we need the support of Mother Nature’s spiritual presence more than ever, to transform and awaken us. Not just for our own well-being but for the benefit of all Earthly life.

Is Unconscious Shame Behind Your Self-Doubt?

I. Introduction: The Link Between Unconscious Shame and Self-Doubt

Self-doubt can arise at any moment. And if it persists, it silences our voice, affects our sense of self, and robs us of opportunities we know we are capable of seizing.

Yet, within the shattered pieces of self-doubt, lies unconscious shame.

Puppeteering the strings of fear and desire.

That is to say, unconscious shame often fuels the fear of rejection, conflict, and failure. And drives the desire to be liked, accepted, and praised.

So, it becomes difficult to live authentically and act and speak from a place of truth.

Even when you know what you want to say or do, you may feel paralyzed by the strings that hold you. Or struggle to connect with your real thoughts and feelings altogether.

So, you find yourself trapped between the borderland of self-trust and self-doubt, with unconscious shame on guard.

For instance, core beliefs are one’s central perceptions and assumptions about the world, other people, and one’s self. In other words, they are thoughts that we have identified with and view reality through.
